Peer Assessment

Group Sequence: Panophobia

What elements of this sequence did you feel were successful? give at least 2 elements, and explain why they were successful.

I think that the most successful parts of this film opening were the titles and the shots of the flashbacks. From the titles you can see that this took time and planning and that a lot thought went into it but then also you can see that this then had to be edited so that the timings were right and not off which also would've taken a lot of time so that the titles were perfect. Also the flash backs were really well done, they really helped build on the story and helped create a bigger picture to the audience of what was actually going on

Were there any aspects of the sequence which you felt were confusing/distracting/missing, etc? Be sure to explain your answers.

The only thing I did find a bit confusing would be the long blank screens towards the end as it was hard to tell if the opening was over or not and overall that just made me confused as  I wasn't sure on when to start thinking more about the opening and instead I was shocked when It carried on.

List 2 things which you feel would have improved this sequence and explain your opinion.

One way to improve could be to change the long black screens at the end so that people don't get confused and also another improvement could be to maybe make sure that when your filming that all the shots you get are clear as some of the titles were hard to see sometimes.
